Comments:
This story is continued from Action Comics Weekly #640.
This story is "to be continued". The story resumes over a year later, beginning in Demon #1. A flashback in Demon #2 reveals the events which take place between the two stories. Jason Blood does not leave Hell during this period and very little time passes from a continuity standpoint. Therefore, this serial must take place immediately prior to events in the Demon ongoing series. As a result, all appearances of Etrigan which were published between this story and Demon #1 are considered to take place before this story.
Synopsis:
The Demon continues his battle with Morgaine Le Fey. He defeats her by breathing fire into her face. Meanwhile, Glenda and Randu have been lured into Hell by Asteroth. They serve as bait to lure Etrigan and Jason to follow. When they all arrive, Asteroth plans to sacrifice all four along with his old enemy Merlin.
