Synopsis:
Deadshot undertakes a mission as part of the Suicide Squad. He meets a former member of his old gang who is connected to the crime lord El Jefe. Deadshot earns a place in the organization by killing another member who had betrayed them. He is then taken on board an airplane and introduced to El Jefe. Despite being in the air, Deadshot opens fire. He kills El Jefe and the rest of the gang. The plane is damaged and starts to go down. Deadshot bails out without a parachute, but he is rescued by the Black Orchid.
When he returns to Belle Reve, he receives a letter from his ex-wife. After reading the letter, he tells Waller and Flag that he is leaving to attend to personal business.
