Synopsis:
The Lords of Order guide their new agent Andrew Bennett to Europe. He arrives in London, then is directed to the tiny nation of Eustania. In the form of a bat, Bennett enters a decaying castle guarded by an ancient man on a throne. The man is named Azzarene, and he guards the Holy Grail. Bennett senses that the Grail is a part of the plan to bring about Mahapralaya. Azzarene directs him to drink blood from the Grail.
Meanwhile Doctor Fate, Nabu, and Typhon in possession of the body of Jack Small are on Bennett's trail. However, Typhon is secretly driving Eric insane with memories of Arkham Asylum. When Eric is finally overcome by his nightmares, Linda takes over control of Fate causing Doctor Fate's physical form to take a female shape.
