Synopsis:
While the Legionnaire conduct a search for the Emerald Empress, Shadow Lass continues to look for a way to save the life of Mon-El. She brings him to a doctor on the world named Verzwei. They are betrayed by the doctor, and Mon-El is transported across space to the ship of the Inquisitor. Shadow Lass follows, and they both become prisoners.

The Inquisitor wants the secret of prolonged life and immortality. His study of Blok has yet to yield results, so he hopes that Mon-El can bring him answers. Instead, Blok manages to free himself and the others. The Inquisitor flees, leaving behind his servant. Shadow Lass then takes Mon-El back to Verzwei, while Blok takes his prisoner to Earth.
