Synopsis:
J'onn searches the streets of Gotham City for information about the death of a veteran police officer. The cop was J'onn's former partner Frank. J'onn's investigation attracts the attention of Batman, who helps his teammate to arrange a meeting with a local drug kingpin suspected of the murder. At the meeting, J'onn probes the mind of the criminal and finds him to be innocent of the murder.
J'onn returns to the Justice League embassy to meditate. Batman continues to investigate the case. After a few days, Batman delivers the news that the death of J'onn's friend was a random act of violence committed by a junkie. J'onn then decides to take some time off in order to reflect upon his true identity.
