"The Last Czarnian Part One"
This story continues in Lobo #2.
Synopsis:
Lobo is upset when an unauthorized biography of his life is published. The biography details his genocide of his own Czarnian people. He wants to track down and murder the author. However, his vengeance is interrupted by Vril Dox who forces him to undertake the job of escorting a prisoner.
Lobo arrives at the detention facility and learns that the prisoner is Miss Tribb, his fourth grade teacher and a Czarnian who escaped the genocide. She is also the author of the biography. Lobo wants to kill her, but Dox orders that she remain alive. Bound by his word to Dox, Lobo reluctantly begins the escort.
At the first stop along the way, Tribb causes a disturbance which leads to a brawl. Lobo is forced to protect her. Other groups have also been inspired by the publication of the biography including Sickbag, an admirer of Lobo. These groups converge on Lobo from afar.
