This story is continued from Starman #17.

Synopsis:
Starman and Power Girl have been defeated by Doctor Polaris. In order to escape, Starman is forced to turn up his heat which burns Power Girl. Once free, they work together to stop Polaris. Will uses his power to change faces to trigger Polaris's mental issues. This allows the heroes to prevail.

After the battle, Will returns home where his mother reads him the riot act. She demands to know where he was. Will is angry and eventually reveals his true identity to her. When Marie learns that Will told his father first, she kicks him out of the house.
