Synopsis:
Ray Palmer meets Oscar D. Dollar, Mr. Odd, who claims that strange million-to-one chance events occur in his presence. The claim is backed up when odd events such as a car horn that shatters windows and a barn fire occur.
A small-time crook, Bart Tranter, overhears the conversation and lures Oscar to the bank, where an earthquake takes place. Tranter robs the bank, and plans to use Oscar again, but Oscar is so upset he decides to rid himself of the silver dollar that he believes is the cause of the effect.
Oscar gives the silver dollar to Ray Palmer. Tranter tries to recover it, but Palmer stops him as the Atom. He also proves that the silver dollar was not the cause of the effect, but rather a small white dwarf stone, Oscar had found in the woods sometime earlier. Then the stone is oddly shot into space, ending the effect permanently.
