Comments:
In this story Jack Soo concludes that a method of time travel can only be used once per individual. In order to travel through time a second time, a different method must be used. Since later stories have refuted this hypothesis, Jack's conclusion is clearly incorrect.
This story is continued from Booster Gold #14.
Synopsis:
Booster and Trixie are held by the 25th century police headed by Broderick. Booster is scheduled for execution after his theft of the Space Museum time machine. Rip Hunter and Jack Soo attempt to break their friends out of police custody by disguising themselves as police. Their attempt fails resulting in their capture.
With the time travelers in custody, Broderick thinks he has finally won, but Booster's sister Michelle comes to their rescue. Booster and his friends then head to Metropolis where another time machine awaits to take them back to 1986. On the way, Jack uses technology from the future S.T.A.R. Labs to repair Booster's costume.
When the group reaches the time platform in Metropolis, Broderick is waiting with Animal. However, he is unable to apprehend the group because Animal remembers that Trixie saved his life. Animal sacrifices himself by holding the power lines together while Booster and his friends complete their escape. After their journey in time, the travelers land on an Iowa farm in March, 1987.
