Comments:
Superman travels into the past of a parallel universe and changes several key events in its history.
Synopsis:
After saving Atlantis from a navy depth charge, Superman is asked by Lori Lemaris to travel back in time and prevent Atlantis from sinking into the ocean. Superman has tried this in the past and believes that history can not be changed, but he will try again.
Traveling back to the day when Atlantis sank, Superman is able to save the city with his powers. When nothing prevents him from doing so, Superman tries to alter other important historical events, including saving his parents from Krypton’s destruction.
When Jor-El and Lara arrive on Earth with their son Kal-El, Superman is confused at how this could happen. He goes back to the present and sees that the history books have not changed. When he tries to go back in time again, he encounters a time-trap, which sent him to a parallel universe. The changes he made did affect that universe, but he must leave it quickly, fearing an unknown danger will disturb both universes should he remain or return.
