Synopsis:
Using a showboat for his base of operations, criminal Rufus Lane begins a string of warehouse robberies. Evidence leads Batman to the showboat where Lane has hired several has-been performers to provide his cover. Batman exposes Lane's operation, but the gang escapes.
Batman then conspires with the performers to capture Lane. Rolfe, an actor, disguises himself as Lane and announces a upcoming performance at a local theatre. The real Lane learns about the performance and proceeds to rob the box office. Batman and Robin were expecting Lane's arrival and set a trap for the crook. Lane is captured, and the has-been actors begin a comeback.
