Muto the mutant enemy of Superman's descendent in the 30th century meets the Joker's descendent. Although they begin fighting with each other when they attempt the same robbery, the two villains decide to team up. When they encounter the Superman of 2967, they are able to defeat him easily using team tactics.
Superman is discouraged by his defeat and returns to his Fortress. Inside he meets the new Batman, Bron Wayn E7705. Batman wants to avenge the death of his father Batman XIX at the hands of the current Joker's father.
The future Superman and Batman team is able to stop the next robbery of Muto and Joker. The villains escape, but Batman is able to track them. When the heroes catch up, Superman beats Muto. Batman duels with the Joker, who is accidentally electrocuted.
