Year ago, the child of a white man was found by indians after a raid on a group of settlers. The child was raised as a indian and named White Bear. As he grew into a young man, White Bear did not know of his true parents until Tomahawk saved his life from a bear. After learning the truth from his indian father, White Bear joins Tomahawk and returns to live with the settlers.
White Bear's given name is John Steele, and he inherited a bakery run by his uncle Luke. Luke is a gun smuggler and tries to frame White Bear for murder in order to get him out of the way. Tomahawk helps White Bear clear his name and apprehend Luke. Then White Bear returns to live with his indian family.
