Synopsis:
Tomahawk investigate a series of robberies by a masked highwayman. Tomahawk pieces together clues and determines that the robber is a woman. When several expensive dresses are stolen, Tomahawk stages a party to learn which woman is wearing the stolen dress.
Tomahawk's plan works. Madame Bernet who runs a local puppet show attends the party in one of the stolen dresses. Tomahawk is unable to expose her because her puppet show acts as an alibi for her crimes. At the next show however, he proves that she is not even in attendance. Her appearance is faked with the use of a puppet.
With her identity exposed, Madame Bernet flees the town. Tomahawk is unable to follow.
