Synopsis:
After a safe is discovered missing from the scene of a hotel fire, Kent Thurston is contacted by his banker friend John Steele. The men visit Steele's business partner Weymann Brent. The two men were in business with the hotel manager who had important papers in the safe. During their meeting Brent's house is set on fire. The men exit, but Kent stays behind long enough to witness men in asbestos suits carrying out the safe. Kent follows them and learns that they plan to target Steele next.

The following week, Kent stakes out Steele's home as the Invisible Hood. Steele is inside with Brent, who is actually the mastermind behind the robberies. The Invisible Hood replaces one of the crooks and is able to stop the others from setting a fire. With the crooks distracted Steele is able to stop Brent. The Hood then helps take care of the remaining gang members.
