Synopsis:
Crooks break into the lab of genius Robert Crane to steal his latest invention. They shoot Crane and knock out his assistant Chuck Grayson. The crooks then flee the lab and call police, pinning the murder on Grayson. When Grayson awakens he has time to save Crane's life by transplanting his brain into a robot body they have created. Before Crane awakens in the new body, police arrest Grayson.
Crane returns to life as Robotman. When he leaves the lab, his new appearance frightens everyone he sees. Robotman creates a lifelike mask and gloves which he wears to become Paul Dennis. As Paul, he visits Grayson in prison and vows to clear the name of his former assistant. Robotman then tracks down the real killers and forces them to confess. After Grayson is released from jail, Robotman explains that he wishes to continue to battle injustice.
