Synopsis:
While Louie the Lug is in jail, his landlady gives a book he owns to the Newsboy Legion for a book drive. When Louie gets out he discovers the book is gone. He contacts his partners and together they search for the book.

Big Words discovers counterfeit money plates hidden inside the book. He and the other Newsboys investigate a factory where Louie runs his counterfeiting operation. The boys are captured, but they manage to signal Jim Harper. Harper comes to the rescue, saving the boys, and apprehending the crooks as the Guardian.
