Synopsis:
When the pleasure boat Rex and Danny are riding on has engine trouble, the crew lands on a small island. Another passenger Frank Ferris hates dogs and is belligerent towards Rex. Rex protects the people when Frank finds food for them that is poisonous. While the other passengers camp for the night, Frank explores the island and becomes lost. Rex finds him and saves him from falling into a ravine. Frank then finds the hide-out of some wanted crooks. Rex once again protects Frank and apprehends them. Frank is finally convinced that Rex is a fine animal and returns to camp, until the boat is repaired.
