Synopsis:
Worried that his friend Ward may be getting involved with a gang, Danny asks Rex to watch out for Ward. Rex begins following Ward and keeping him out of trouble. One night, Ward locks Rex in the house to prevent the dog from following him. Rex manages to get out and find Ward. Ward's friends the Golden Hawks are about to start a robbery. Rex and Ward stop the crime and summon police. Danny then learns that Ward was only involved with the gang to get a newspaper story.
