Synopsis:
Bobo decides to become a volunteer fireman. However, when he fails the entrance tests, Bobo is rejected. Instead he gets his own miniature fire engine and beats the real volunteers to several fires. Sheriff Chase is upset that the chimp's firefighting has interferred with his duties as deputy.

When an fire alarm test fools Bobo into thinking a real fire is occuring, he rushes to the woods where he has spotted smoke. He douses the campfire of three escaped criminals. A fight ensues. When Sheriff Chase arrives he finds that Bobo has caught the crooks.
