Synopsis:
Captain Storm finishes an uneventful patrol with a new junior officer. The officer complains about the lack of action. Suddenly, the boat is attacked by an enemy submarine. The officer accidentally fires the main gun and hits the sub, destroying it. The shot was accidental, so the officer is disappointed.

Two further attacks, one from a plane another from a destroyer, befall the PT boat. Again Storm's boat survives, through accidents which end in his favor. The junior officer remains disappointed.

Finally, the crew spots an island girl adrift aboard a raft. They learn about an enemy aircraft carrier in the area, but an aerial attack damages the boat and disables their weapons. Storm and his junior officer lash two torpedos onto the raft and guide it to the carrier. They fight off frogmen and ensure the explosives reach their destination, destroying the carrier. Storm and the officer survive having finally destroyed the enemy intentionally.
