Synopsis:
When Ilda's dream-spool malfunctions, her dreams begin tuning in on real events. Star is able to watch her dreams through a projector and sees a wealthy man, Ferris Norton, get his pocket picked. Star visits Norton, who claims that he is not missing anything. Star leads him to the thief, uncovering a billfold in the pickpocket's belongings. Norton and the pickpocket then pull a gun on Star and knock him out. Ilda comes to the aid of her boss. The two men use a heat-ray on her, but her robot construction can stand the heat. The men are revealed as spies, so Star gets a reward for their capture. Ilda's metal body eventually cools down after exposure to the extreme heat.
