Synopsis:
Mister Miracle has been captured by Doctor Bedlam's animates. While he struggles to escape, Bedlam attends a dinner with Barda and her neighbors. He has also poisoned the town water supply which causes the townspeople including Oberon to devolve into cavemen. Barda destroys the animate holding Bedlam's consciousness, but she cannot risk hurting the devolved townspeople.
When Scott get free, he returns to his fix-it shop to retrieve his Mother Box and a multi-cube. He uses the multi-cube to put the townspeople to sleep until a cure can be found. Miracle and Barda don't have to wait long. Highfather arrives and uses his power to counteract the effects of the devolution pills.
