Synopsis:
Reade Colvin runs a ranch with his younger brother Bob. Reade gets mixed up with two rustlers Mel Barcus and Whitey Davis. One day, Sheriff Stroop visits the ranch and informs Bob that Reade died after three outlaws pulled a bank robbery. Batman pursued them and one of the outlaws, Reade, fell from a cliff during the chase. Bob begins hating Batman and Robin.

When Dick Grayson comes to the ranch seeking Bob, the angry teen chases him away. Bob then joins up with the outlaws, though he does not know what they are up to. Robin catches up to them and takes Bob's place. He stops some an attempted cattle robbery, but he is nearly killed by the outlaws. Robin escapes and saves Bob too, who finally learns the truth. The outlaws killed Reade when he didn't want to rob the bank. The outlaws are caught, and Bob is now a fan of Batman and Robin.
