Synopsis:
Doctor Thirteen travels to Mexico where he visits the infamous Suicide Tower. Everyone who has ever climbed to the top of the tower has jumped off to their own death. The tower was built by natives under the command of conquistadors. One of the natives Oaxa placed a curse on the tower which many blame for the multiple suicides.

Doctor Thirteen witnesses a reporter climb the tower. As he stands at the top, his cameraman rushes inside to save him. However, the reporter jumps. Later, another man climbs the tower. He too falls to his death.

Finally, Doctor Thirteen climbs the tower himself. Inside are murals depicting human sacrifice. When he reaches the top, the view hypnotizes him and causes him to be paralyzed. Only by burning himself with a cigarette lighter is Thirteen able to break the trance. He also realizes that the ledge is set to move using stones at the base. When rescuers enter the tower the hypnotized victims fall off the moving ledge. With the secret of the tower uncovered, Thirteen recommends structural changes to ensure that no one jumps to the death ever again.
