Synopsis:
Jonah Thistle is a jinx. Accidents occur whenever he is near. Smiler Smythe and his gang intend to use Thistle in an insurance racket. Thistle runs from the crooks and meets Doiby Dickles. Thistle explains that he is a jinx, but Doiby's friend Green Lantern refuses to believe it.

As the crooks chase Thistle around the city, accidents cause injuries and property damage. Green Lantern eventually captures the crooks. He then offers to put Thistle on a radio show to prove he is not a jinx. When Thistle appears on the show, an explosion partially destroys the station.
