Comments:
Iris West is refered to as Barry Allen’s fiancee for the first time in this story.

Synopsis:
Several burglaries have occurred in Central City but nothing has been stolen. A man calling himself the Pied Piper is responsible. He is a master of sound. Using a special flute, he is able to control a gang of criminals. He is worried about the Flash, so Piper creates a plan to stop his nemesis.

While at dinner with Iris West, Barry Allen hears a challenge to the Flash. He exits quickly and races to the scene of one of the robberies. Piper is finishing the job and is prepared to deal with Flash. Piper overcomes the speedster and moves on to the next robbery.

The Flash pursues the gang and is once again halted by the Piper’s flute. This time though, Flash recovers quicker and is able to capture the Piper and his gang.
