Synopsis:
Iris West’s nephew Wally West is the president of the Flash Fan Club. She leaves Wally to spend the day with Barry Allen hoping that Barry can introduce Wally to his idol. Barry asks Wally to go into the next room. As Wally enters Barry switches to Flash and enters the room invisible to Wally.
Wally is impressed by Flash and wants to know how Flash got his powers. Suddenly a lightning bolt breaks throught the window and the accident that gave Barry his powers is duplicated on Wally. Wally gains super-speed also and Flash agrees to mentor the boy. He gives Wally a smaller version of his own outfit.
Later while alone, Wally is alerted to trouble at the zoo. He races there and recaptures several escaped animals. Flash arrives and observes Kid Flash in action. He is happy that Wally is using his powers well. Wally also agrees to keep his powers a secret.
