Synopsis:
Mr. Mxyztplk has decided to return to Earth to rule the world. He believes that fabulous wealth will allow him to accomplish his goals, so he begins mining for gold in the southwestern town of Porto Del Oro. Lois Lane visits the town after receiving a tip about a ghost. When she sees signs of magic, she calls the Daily Planet to report the story.

Upon hearing the story Lois tells, Superman responds. He arrives in town and spots Mxyztplk with his super vision. A fight ensues. Mxyztplk tries to buy off the Man of Steel with the gold he has found, but Superman refuses. The imp learns that wealth doesn't conquer all. After some additional fighting, Mxyztplk voluntarily says the magic word that sends him home to Zrfff.
