Synopsis:
Mxyztplk returns and begins causing trouble is Metropolis. Superman convinces the imp to take up playing chess. Mxyztplk then kidnaps two chess champions and builds a gameboard using castles and statues as pieces. Superman confronts Mxyztplk again and returns the stolen landmarks. He then challenges the imp to a chess game in the Sahara Desert. Superman creates giant pieces including a surprise piece called a Klptzyxm. When Mxyztplk speaks the name of the piece, he is sent back to his own dimension.
