Synopsis:
The Justice League is honored with a special award after they successfully rescue Professor Lars Hansun from the clutches of the One Hundred. After the presentation, Dr. Viktor Willard is awarded a Nobel Prize. Black Canary is surprised when she is able to read the thoughts of Willard's fiancee Phyllis Temple.
Some time later, the Flash rescues Phyllis from a capsized boat in the ocean. Phyllis explains that Willard, now her husband, has gone mad and intends to destroy the world. The Justice League invade Willard's island base. Willard orders his synthetic assistant Nether Man to kill Phyllis. The creature turns against his master, ensuring that both men die in the process. The Justice Leaguers then destroy the inferno-bomb that Willard intended to unleash on the world.
