Synopsis:
While Green Lantern investigates some break-ins at the local zoo, Doiby and Irene Miller are sent as escorts for inventor John Ames. Crooks try to kidnap Ames, but Doiby fights them off. Police arrive and take Irene and Ames with them. Doiby then discovers that the police were crooks in disguise, so he follows them in his cab. Doiby himself is then captured by a Nazi known as the Bushmaster, who wants Ames's new formula for making balsa wood bulletproof.

At the zoo, a crook escapes with a bushmaster snake. Green Lantern follows him back to the estate where Doiby and the others are held captive. GL attempts a rescue, but he is captured too. The four prisoners are left in a room with the deadly snake. GL awakens in time to use his ring against the snake. He then defeats the spies, preventing them from obtaining Ames's formula.
