Synopsis:
Smallville's truant officer Perkins is in danger of being transferred to another town because students in town don't skip class. Before he leaves Perkins witnesses Superboy stop a gang of bandits. The truant officer approaches Superboy and accuses him of skipping classes.

Superboy is brought to school where he is told that he must attend first grade because he has no school record. The Boy of Steel offers to proves his mastery of every school subject, thus exempting him from attending classes. Superboy then proceeds to demonstrate his knowledge of math, science, literature, and other subjects. The teachers are impressed, and Superboy is officially exempting from attending school.
