Synopsis:
A group of ex-cons form a band called the Jail Jivers. Their music is a success, so they go on tour, stopping in several small towns. Robberies in those towns indicate the band is still resorting to crime, so they are arrested.

Johnny Quick believes the Jail Jivers are innocent. He discovers that Cracker Cole and his gang have been following the Jivers from town to town and are responsible for the robberies. Johnny captures Cole and his men and clears the Jivers of the crimes.
