Synopsis:
While racing a jet plane, Johnny Quick runs faster than ever before and breaks the time barrier. He is propelled into the future year of 2048. He soon discovers that his magic formula does not work in this time period and is helpless against a gang of thieves.

Johnny then meets Dr. Kalan, a scientist working with the Bureau of Crime Prevention. Dr. Kalan feeds Johnny's formula into a computer in order to construct a new working formula. Meanwhile, Johnny battles the thieves using futuristic inventions.

Having failed to stop the thieves using the future weapons, Johnny finally regains his speed when the computer gives him a new formula. Johnny then defeats the crooks. He also prevents Dr. Kalan from learning the formula to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands. Finally, Johnny uses his speed to return to his own time period and complete his race.
