Comments:
This story continues in the first story of Our Army at War #163.

It is unclear whether the Viking Prince in this story is actually Jon, the Viking Prince from Brave and the Bold. He is depicted and described as having silver hair in this story, while Jon had blond hair. It is possible that this is just an older version of Jon and his hair color has changed with age.

Synopsis:
Sgt. Rock and Easy Company are sent into enemy territory to destroy a secret Nazi terror drone base. Once they land on the beach, Rock leads the enemy troops away from Easy. He finds his way into a cave where an explosion frees a man trapped in the ice. The man is the Viking Prince of legend.

The Viking Prince explains that long ago he nearly met his end in battle. A valkyrie came and carried him to Valhalla. Against the will of Odin, the Prince and the Valkyrie fell in love. Odin then discovers that the Prince was not fated to die in the battle from which he was taken. Odin curses the Prince and sends him back to Earth trapped in the ice.

After Rock awakens the Prince, the viking warrior wishes to help the sergeant on a suicide mission. He wishes to die in battle, so that he can rejoin his love in Valhalla. However, Odin's curse has made it impossible for metal, fire, water, or wood to kill him. The Viking Prince then attack a Nazi plane during takeoff and single-handedly destroys it.
