Synopsis:
Clark Kent and several other local boys visit a pair of men who are new in town. The men, Hoke and Pedro, are kite manufacturers. They let the boys fly some special kites until a plane comes along and snags them. Clark becomes suspicious when he notices that the kites were rigged to break.

The following day, Clark watches the kids take some new kites into the sky. His x-ray vision reveals that a timer is set to cut the strings. He follows the runaway kites into the air and spots the same plane from the day before. Superboy brings down the plane and exposes the kite builders as counterfeiters. The men were transporting the phony money in the kites to their accomplice in the plane.
