Synopsis:
Cartoonist Quentin Ward submits a new series of strips to his editor in which his character hitch-hikes around the world by sea. The editor believes the idea to be preposterous. Ward offers to prove that the feat can be done and sets out to do it himself.

While waiting for a passing ship on a small island, Quentin meets Aquaman. The Sea King assists Quentin in obtaining rides around the world just like he described in his cartoon. Aquaman himself carries Quentin home on the last leg of the journey where he is greeted by the editor. The editor used the story to increase circulation of the newspaper and gives Quentin a big raise.
