Synopsis:
While retrieving a load of cargo from the ocean floor, Aquaman encounters a species of fish that he has never seen before. The fish gives Aquaman a jolt of electricity which causes him to become weak. Doctors inform him that the weakness will persist for a few weeks, and that he will be unable to swim.

Word of Aquaman's condition spreads throughout the underworld and pirate community. Black Jack begins a series of daring raids without fear of Aquaman's intervention. Using the help of his fish friends Aquaman stops Black Jack and pretends that his powers have returned. Black Jack eventually believes that Aquaman is back to full strength and ceases his operations. After another week, Aquaman's powers do return.
