Synopsis:
Superboy takes an interest in Horace Holly, a student that is a frequent target for bullies. Superboy makes the other students believe that Horace is really the Boy of Steel. They begin to treat Horace better and gain his favor. Superboy secretly uses his powers to maintain the hoax.

Crooks hear the rumor that Horace is Superboy. They kidnap Horace's friend Clark Kent in order to force Horace to work for them. Clark, who is really Superboy, escapes and stops the gangsters. Then Superboy reveals his hoax to Horace and the students. The kids vow to be nicer to Horace in the future, even though they now know he is not the Boy of Steel.
