Synopsis:
Crooks from Metropolis visit Smallville where they begin blackmailing ex-con Henry Winters. The crooks threaten to expose Winters' past unless his son Johnny pretends to be Superboy in order to trick the townspeople into making donations to a phony charity. The real Superboy interrupts their plan by replacing Johnny. He prevents any money from being donated then rescues Mr. Winters. When the crooks try to expose Winters as an ex-con, they are discredited by Superboy. Winters' reputation is maintained, and the crooks are sent to jail.
