Supergirl dreams that her parents are trying to communicate with her. Though she believes them dead, she searches the Phantom Zone for them, while being taunted by the prisoners within. Using a chronoscope, Supergirl views Argo City's construction and destruction again. This time she continues to watch past the point when her rocket was launched. She learns her parents exiled themselves to the Survival Zone which exists on a different wavelength than the Phantom Zone. Her parents still live, but are trapped in the Survival Zone with no way out.
