Synopsis:
Inventor John Blair has injured in an accident and has remained in a coma for twenty years. With the help of Superboy and a medical specialist, Blair is finally revived. The doctor warns that if Blair discovers that he has missed 20 years, the shock could cause a relapse.

With the help of the mayor and Blair's friends, Superboy conceals the passage of time from Blair. His efforts are continually challenged by small mistakes, which he discovered were left intentionally by Blair's cousin Henry Vanning.

Vanning intended to shock Blair and cause a relapse. In so doing, Vanning would return to his position as guardian of Blair's fortune. Despite Superboy's efforts, Blair eventually discovers the truth, but because he did so gradually, he doesn't suffer a shock. Blair is then reunited with his long-time fiance.
