Synopsis:
The Blue Boys track down a gang of sugar thieves, but Tubby is too slow to keep up with the others. One of the crooks finds Tubby and tosses him into a bag of sugar. Without their partner, the other Blue Boys are captured too. Tubby escapes by eating his way out of the bag. He rescues his friends, then joins the pursuit of the crooks. He falls behind again and is dragged into a pie-eating contest. Tubby wins the contest, while the other boys capture the crooks. Later, Tommy and Toughy tease him for being too fat.
