Synopsis:
After committing a murder, gangsters send the murder weapon to bank teller Mortimer Blake. The timid man tries to get rid of the gun at a pawn shop, but the owner thinks Blake is trying to rob him. Blake leaves the store and meets Mr. Terrific. After hearing Blake's story, Mr. Terrific believes that the gangsters are the same killers that he has been trying to catch.

Mr. Terrific trains Mortimer then lays a trap for the crooks. When the crooks hear that Blake robbed the pawn shop, they try to recruit him. Mr. Terrific then surprises them and makes the capture with Blake's assistance.
