Synopsis:
Lois Lane interviews several girls who once dated Superboy. She meets three that were only acquaintences of the Boy of Steel, but Lydia Lawrence appears to have been a serious romance for Superboy. Lois finds letters and trophies written by Superboy. She also discovers that the romance has continued into the present.
Lois then witnesses Superman pick Lydia up for a date at the World's Fair. Lois believes that Superman intends to propose to Lydia. She leaves the fair, heartbroken. Superman later finds Lois and explains that he was fulfilling a wish for Lydia to make her boyfriend Jerry jealous. Jerry proposes to Lydia, and Superman explains that the letters and trophies were faked to fool Jerry. Lois is uplifted by the revelation and continues to chase the Man of Steel's affections.
