Synopsis:
A strange streak of dangerous weather has struck Central City. Flash investigates and discovers a man, the Weather Wizard, is responsible. Weather Wizard attacks Flash with lightning but Flash outruns it. Only a patch of fog allows Weather Wizard to escape.
When the fog dissipates, Flash meets a US marshall who has been trailing the Weather Wizard. Weather Wizard is really Mark Mardon, an escaped criminal. Mardon gained his ability to control the weather when he came across his dead brother Clyde’s laboratory. Clyde had been doing experiments before he died on weather control. Mardon fashioned a weather-stick and costume to use this technology for his own criminal purposes. The marshall tells Flash that Mardon has attacked a police station and a sheriff’s office in a nearby state. Flash realizes where the Wizard will strike next and rushes off.
Flash arrives at the location to discover a huge glacier threatening the city. Flash melts the glacier and controls the flood waters. He is able to overcome the Wizard and deliver him to the marshall’s custody. Flash had correctly guessed that Mardon was attacking the lawmen who had put him in jail previously.
After his case is over, Flash realizes that he is almost late for his date with Iris. He arrives just in time but has forgotten to remove his Flash costume. Iris is confused as to why Flash would show up instead of Barry Allen.
