Comments:
This story is the last in which the Atom wears his original costume.

Synopsis:
Professor Purvis, Al Pratt's engineering professor, is contracted to build a tunnel underneath a river. When a leak causes water to fill the tunnel, Purvis and the Atom work together to close it. They then become trapped in the tunnel when someone shuts them in. The Atom breaks them out and exposes one of the workers as the man behind the trap. The worker was paid by a rival contractor who wanted the project for his company.
