Synopsis:
Superman tracks down some escaped prisoners, but one, Les Keegan, is missing. Superman listens to his partners plan a job to steal one of Superman’s trophys and use it in a blackmail scheme. Superman recalls how each of the trophys was used, but can not figure out how it can be used to blackmail someone.

When the crooks arrive to steal the trophy, Superman is waiting for them. He catches them, and Keegan reveals that a sledgehammer, used to destroy a bridge, belonged to the mayor. Superman has already learned this, but knows that the mayor was destroying the bridge only to prove that it had been poorly constructed, not with malicious intent.
