A pair of crooks who are trying to find some stolen money learn that Superboy is helping students. One of them joins the class in disguise and tricks Superboy into helping find the money. However, Mr. Foster, the man who knows where the money is located, is able to get a message to Superboy. He then apprehends the crooks.
Superboy also finds the money and returns it to its rightful owners, the Reeds. Henry Reed was worried by the loss of the money, so he was failing in school. With the return of the money, Henry's grades improve.
